I know I’m not supposed to claim favorites.. but this wedding is at the top. Joe and Kathleen were amazing to work with. They showed so much kindness and thankfulness toward me the entire day. Their families are amazing too. They kept trying to feed me. 😉

The weather was a little iffy and storm clouds kept threatening us but we lucked out with just a few sprinkles. And it actually made for some great skies! Joe and Kathleen gave me lots of time for their bride and groom portraits and never rushed me. It makes such a big difference on the outcome of their portraits because they received a huge variety. Who wouldn’t want that?

These two must be amazing people.. because check out their huge wedding party! They are well loved. They win for the biggest wedding party I’ve ever photographed. Their wedding was decked out with gorgeous country decor and sunflower bouquets and the most incredible ceremony arbor I’ve ever seen. Everything was just amazing. Everywhere you looked, the details were just beautiful.

Their wedding reception was in a huge old barn on family property in Scott Valley, filled with family and friends. I even got Kathleen to twirl her dress in the field with amazing stormy skies behind her. Ohhh my word those shots are some of my favorites.
