Gover Ranch Spring Garden Wedding – Shasta County Wedding Photography

This was easily one of the prettiest spring garden weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing!

Travis + Karli were such a wonderful and gracious couple to work with, and their wedding at Gover Ranch in Anderson, California was absolutely beautiful.

A Spring Garden Wedding at Gover Ranch

The garden area at Gover Ranch was the perfect setting for their newlywed portraits. Everything was so beautifully maintained, and the spring flowers and lush greenery created a gorgeous backdrop for their photographs.

But the garden wasn’t the only part of the venue that impressed me.

The bridal prep room was STUNNING.

Good natural light and beautiful getting-ready spaces make such a huge difference when it comes to bridal photographs, and Gover Ranch definitely delivered. There were gorgeous mirrors everywhere, which gave us so many fun options for photographing Karli as she got ready.

And then she put on her dress…

WOW.

Karli’s lace wedding dress photographed beautifully, and I loved the way her bridesmaids’ different colors and dress styles came together. They weren’t all identical, but everything coordinated beautifully and gave the bridal party a really stylish look.

A Sweet Spring Wedding Day

Karli and Travis said their vows surrounded by the people they love most, shared a kiss to seal the deal, and headed off to celebrate at their reception.

There was delicious food, dancing, a sweet first dance, and—because apparently one dessert simply wasn’t enough—donuts alongside the wedding cake.

I mean, C’MON. 🍩

One of my favorite moments during the reception was watching Travis look at his new bride during their first dance. There’s something about those little glances between newlyweds that gets me every time.

We also managed to sneak away from the reception for a few minutes to grab some sunset portraits.

This is always my favorite part of the wedding day.

The light gets soft and glowy, the timeline slows down for just a few minutes, and the couple gets a chance to step away from the excitement and simply be together.

Those sunset photographs ended up being some of my favorites from their day.

I’m so grateful for wonderful couples like Karli and Travis who trust me to step into such a meaningful and precious day in their lives. It’s an incredible honor to preserve these memories for them.

Congratulations, Karli + Travis! I hope your marriage is filled with as much love, laughter, and happiness as your wedding day. ❤️
