Four boys, one beautiful family, and approximately a million giggles. 😂

This sweet family was SO much fun to photograph! With four energetic boys—and a fifth little one on the way—there was no shortage of shenanigans during their Rogue Valley family and maternity session.

And honestly? I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

These boys wrestled, raced, snuggled, laughed, and generally created the kind of beautiful chaos that makes family photographs feel real. We captured the sweet moments, the wild ones, and everything in between. Because when you have four boys, asking everyone to sit perfectly still probably isn’t the best plan anyway. 😉

Mom’s pregnancy made this session even more special, giving us the opportunity to document not only this season of their family, but also the anticipation of welcoming baby number five.

I also have to talk about their outfits because they absolutely nailed it! The combination of patterns, textures, florals, and coordinating colors gave the photographs so much visual interest while still feeling natural and true to their family.

We spent part of the session snuggled together on a blanket, but most of the time? We embraced the chaos—and it was delightful.

That’s one of my favorite things about family photography. Your children are only this little for so long. They won’t always want to race their brothers, wrestle on the grass, or pile onto a blanket with Mom and Dad. These are the moments that change before you even realize it.

So yes, we’ll get the beautiful family portrait.

But we’ll also let your kids be kids.

We’ll let them run, laugh, snuggle, play, and make a little mess along the way. Those photographs often end up being the ones you treasure most.

This Rogue Valley family session was such a joy to photograph, and I can’t wait to imagine this crew with their newest little brother or sister in the mix. ❤️
