There’s something extra special about photographing a family I’ve known for years. I photographed this sweet couple’s engagement session and wedding way back when, so getting to see them again with their two little ones was such a treat!

This lovely family was absolutely fantastic to photograph. I adore capturing the connection between parents and their tiny humans, and these four gave me plenty of sweet moments to work with. There were snuggles, smooches, giggles, and all the little in-between moments that make family photos feel genuine and full of life.

Big sister had the sweetest personality and absolutely loved twirling around in her sparkly blue dress. And little brother? That smile! He was so happy and adorable, I could have photographed that grin all day.

And of course, their style was still completely on point. These two have always been SO stylish, and apparently they’ve passed that talent right along to their kiddos.

The gorgeous Southern Oregon fall colors made the perfect backdrop, with warm autumn tones surrounding all those playful family moments. I love how colorful the landscape can get this time of year!

Getting to photograph a family through different chapters of their lives is one of my favorite parts of this job. From engagement photos and wedding days to growing families and tiny giggles—it’s pretty special to be invited back again and again.
