Taylor, Senior Portraits with Horse

This was such a fun senior session! Taylor had the sweetest idea for her senior portraits: choose two locations so she could have the best of both worlds—and, of course, include her beloved horse. YES PLEASE. I am always here for senior portraits that feel personal and completely unique to the person being photographed.

We started her EdenVale Winery senior portraits, which is such a great spot for photos. There’s a surprising amount of variety packed into a relatively small area, so we were able to get lots of different looks without spending the entire session driving from one location to another. Between the natural scenery, beautiful landscaping, and different textures and backdrops, it gave us plenty to work with.

Taylor looked absolutely gorgeous and totally at home in front of the camera. We wandered around the property, capturing a mix of classic senior portraits and more candid, playful moments before heading off to the second location for the part I was especially excited about: the horse photos!

I mean… come on. Senior portraits with your horse?! How cool is that?!

Taylor’s horse was such a sweetheart, and having such an important part of her life included in her senior session made the photos feel so much more meaningful. These are the kinds of portraits I love most—the ones that actually tell you something about the person you’re photographing.

And can we talk about that tail?!

Taylor braided her horse’s tail so it would have those beautiful waves, and it was seriously the cutest detail. It added such a fun little touch to the photos and showed just how much thought she put into making the session her own.

I absolutely love when seniors bring along something—or someone—that is important to them. Your senior portraits don’t have to look like everyone else’s. They can be outdoorsy, playful, elegant, adventurous, a little quirky, or all of the above. They should feel like you.

Taylor’s session was the perfect combination of beautiful Southern Oregon scenery, classic senior portraits, and a whole lot of personality. And getting to photograph her with her horse was definitely the cherry on top!

What a fun session, Taylor! I’m so glad we got to create something that feels so uniquely you. 🤍
