You guys. This day was perfection. I think we all kinda hoped for it to be snowing, but it was a clear day with gorgeous views of Mt. Shasta from the top of Mt. Ashland. Holly + Jerod were super easy going and really soaked everything in on their elopement day. They only had a few close friends/family attend and it was just lovely. These low-key days that celebrate love rather than a big party are seriously feeding my soul.
Holly even wore rad Sorel boots for the occasion! Her flower crown and bouquet were beautiful and she was seriously glowing. Jerod looked so handsome and kept checking out his bride every chance he had. We started at the bottom of the ski park road and made our way up, finding cool spots along the way. They even danced in the road and snuggled in a blanket.
During the ceremony, Jerod read really sweet vows to his new step son and I think we all cried during that part. Holly’s mother wasn’t able to fly from Hawaii to attend but she sent beautiful Hawaiian leis that looked so nice with the snowy backdrop. We made our way back to the parking lot and their son Keola drove his car around the parking area blasting fun music and the newlyweds danced. Such a dream day!
