Mt. Shasta Castle Lake Trinity Mountains Elopement Photography

There is something incredibly special about an intimate wedding day surrounded by epic scenery, and Shravani & Raghuram’s Mt. Shasta and Castle Lake elopement was exactly that.

Their day began with a private ceremony and ring exchange, and I even had the honor of getting ordained and pronouncing them husband and wife! Such a fun and meaningful part of the experience.

After their ceremony, we explored the beautiful scenery around Mt. Shasta before heading up to Castle Lake in the Trinity Mountains of Northern California for their newlywed portraits. Between the incredible views of Mount Shasta, the peaceful glacial lake, and the surrounding mountains and forests, it was an absolutely stunning setting for an elopement.

One of my favorite parts of their day was how beautifully they incorporated themselves and their traditions into their wedding. Shravani and Raghuram wore traditional Indian wedding garments, and the colors and details were absolutely gorgeous. I always love seeing couples create a wedding day that feels true to who they are and the things that matter most to them.

As the evening continued, these two danced, kissed, and celebrated their newlywed status surrounded by the trees and beautiful Northern California landscape. They were so playful and sweet together, and their joy was impossible to miss.

Siskiyou County is home to some truly incredible locations for adventurous and intimate weddings, and Castle Lake is definitely one of those hidden gems. For couples dreaming of a scenic mountain elopement with dramatic views and a little adventure, this area is hard to beat.
