The Sweet family.
I mean… with a last name like that, how could they NOT be adorable? 😉
I absolutely LOVE getting to see this family every year for their fall photographs.
I’ve been photographing Tyler + Ericka since their engagement and wedding, and one of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to continue along with a family as their story grows.
I got to photograph them as a couple.
Then came their little one.
And now I get to watch this sweet family grow and change year after year.
A Siskiyou County Fall Family Session
There is SO much love between these three, and it’s incredibly fun to photograph.
The giggles, cuddles, little interactions, and those in-between moments are what make their photographs feel like them.
We photographed their session among the dry golden grass and pine trees, which made such a beautiful backdrop for a fall family session in Siskiyou County.
And once again, Ericka absolutely nailed the wardrobe.
She always does such a beautiful job choosing colors that coordinate without looking overly matched, and this year’s outfits worked perfectly with the warm, earthy landscape.
I love when families put a little thought into their wardrobe because the right colors can make such a difference when you’re photographing against natural surroundings.
But really, the best part of this session was simply watching them together.
There’s something pretty special about photographing a family year after year. You start to notice the little changes—the way a child has grown, new personalities emerging, and all the tiny details that make each season different.
These photographs become a little visual record of their family history.
And I am so incredibly grateful that Tyler + Ericka have trusted me to document theirs.
I can’t wait to see the Sweet family again next fall. ❤️
