Elopements

Umpqua National Forest Elopement with Waterfalls, Rivers and Popping Champagne

When Shelbie and Avery reached out about their elopement plans, I was ALL IN. I could tell immediately that these two were my kind of people. They vowed forever to each other on their 10 year dating anniversary. High School sweethearts. So sweet!

We decided on a morning elopement in order to beat the heat in August. The sunrise lighting was fantastic! They stayed at the Steamboat Inn which was such a great scenic spot. Shelbie and Avery chose to elope completely alone (besides me!) so they helped each other get ready the morning of. I think these make for the sweetest photos! They spoke their vows privately to each other near the river against the morning light. They explored, snuggled, kissed and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. And her veil, I mean c’mon! Gorgeous!

We also explored the trail to Toketee Falls and saw the waterfall from the lookout. Such a stunning view! They fed each other cake in the back of their rental SUV, popped champagne and had the best time ever! These two are so chill, I had such a blast with them. I am so beyond happy for Shelbie and Avery to start their lives together as husband and wife. It was my honor to capture this rad day for them!

Enjoyed seeing so much of the Umpqua National Forest and hope to travel there before long as the photos have made it most appealing.
