These two wanted an adventure engagement session, and they absolutely got one! 🌲💦 Toketee Falls in the Umpqua National Forest is one of those places that feels almost unreal. The towering basalt columns, lush greenery, and rushing waterfall create such a dramatic and beautiful backdrop, but getting there definitely adds a little adventure to the experience.

The hike down to Toketee Falls is not your typical easy stroll. The trail can be pretty sketchy in spots, and it’s definitely a better fit for couples who don’t mind a little adventure (and maybe a little adrenaline).  But once you arrive?

So worth it.

The view is absolutely breathtaking.

And honestly, I love when couples are willing to put in a little effort for a location that feels unique and meaningful. The best adventures usually come with a little work, right?

We started their session exploring the forest along the way to the falls, taking advantage of the beautiful mossy trees, greenery, and natural textures throughout the trail. Their slightly dressy outfits were such a fun contrast against the rugged forest setting. I love when couples dress up a little for an outdoor adventure, it creates such a cool mix of elegance and wild scenery.

Once we reached Toketee Falls, it was pure magic.

Waterfalls are always dreamy, but Toketee Falls really does take the cake. The unique rock formations, misty water, and peaceful forest surroundings make it one of the most incredible locations in Oregon.

After soaking in the waterfall views, we also stopped by Tioga Pedestrian Bridge for some additional portraits. It gave us a completely different feel and added even more variety to their gallery.

And these two?

So fun together.

They laughed, snuggled, danced, and played around like they were the only two people there. Some of my favorite moments were the simple ones, her twirling under his arm, the two of them wrapped up together, and those little interactions where you can see how comfortable and happy they are with each other.

That’s the magic of adventure sessions. It’s not just about the location (although this one was pretty epic 😉). It’s about creating memories together while capturing the way you love each other.

A waterfall, a forest adventure, a beautiful bridge, lots of laughter, and two people who are clearly crazy about each other?

Pretty much the perfect engagement session.
