OMG, these two are so adorable! 😍

I get such a kick out of capturing genuine, playful love. It is truly one of my favorite things to photograph. Give me a couple who laughs together, snuggles easily, and isn’t afraid to be a little silly, and I am a very happy photographer.

That was absolutely Haylee and Alex.

Their Jackson County river engagement session was the perfect fall evening. The autumn scenery, peaceful river setting, and cozy seasonal vibes created such a beautiful backdrop for their portraits.

And can we talk about the cozy sweater look?

There is something about fall engagement sessions that feels extra romantic. The layers, warm colors, crisp air, and those little moments of cuddling up together create such a sweet atmosphere.

Haylee and Alex brought the kind of connection I love photographing. Their love feels easy and genuine. There were lots of snuggles, plenty of giggles, and those little in-between moments where you can tell two people genuinely enjoy being around each other.

Those are always my favorite images.

Not just the photos where everyone is perfectly posed (although we get those too 😉), but the ones where someone laughs unexpectedly, a couple gets caught up in the moment, or they forget the camera is even there.

Because that’s the good stuff.

I love when couples give themselves permission to just have fun during their session. Walk around, hold hands, whisper something ridiculous, dance for a second, squeeze each other a little tighter. Those tiny moments are what make a gallery feel alive and personal.

And Haylee and Alex absolutely brought that energy.

Their session was full of a sweet love with just the right amount of playfulness sprinkled in. The river, the fall colors, the cozy sweaters, and their obvious affection for each other all came together beautifully.
