Gahhhh, Riva and Lukas are such a dreamy couple! And somehow, they’re even sweeter than they are gorgeous. These two are the kind of people who bring so much joy and playfulness with them that photographing them honestly feels like hanging out with friends—and that feeds my soul in the best way.

I first met Riva and Lukas during their engagement session, and we had an absolute blast. They were so relaxed, playful, and completely themselves in front of the camera, so when they asked me to be their wedding photographer too, I was SO excited.

Getting to photograph a couple from their engagement session all the way through their wedding day is one of my favorite things. You already have that connection, you know their personalities, and by the time the wedding rolls around, it feels like you’re showing up to celebrate with people you genuinely care about.

And then there’s Pheasant Fields Farm.

What a gorgeous spot for a wedding! It has everything you could want all in one place, with beautiful scenery, tons of great locations for photos, and so many little pockets that give you variety throughout the day. And when that evening sun starts dropping? OH MY WORD.  The light out there is just ridiculous. Riva and Lukas made the most of every bit of it.

Every last detail of their wedding was thoughtfully planned and beautifully pulled together. You could tell how much care they put into creating a day that felt special, welcoming, and completely theirs. From the little details to the big moments, everything came together so beautifully.

And, of course, these two were the stars of the show.

There is something about photographing people who are genuinely happy together. Riva and Lukas have this playful, easy kind of love that makes you want to smile right along with them. They laugh, they have fun, they clearly adore each other—and capturing that connection was an absolute joy.

Their wedding day was everything I hoped it would be: beautiful, joyful, personal, and just plain FUN.
