What a DREAM it was to be a part of JT and Julianah’s sweet elopement in the woods outside Denver, Colorado! These two have been so much fun to photograph from the very beginning, so getting the chance to travel to Colorado and document their wedding day felt like such a special full-circle moment.
I first met JT and Julianah for their engagement session in the snow on Mt. Ashland, and they were SO fun to photograph. They brought so much personality, playfulness, and genuine connection to their session, and I remember thinking how much I hoped I’d get to photograph them again someday.
So you can imagine how excited I was when they reached out and asked me to capture their wedding in Denver!
Their wedding day was intimate, meaningful, and completely their own. They chose to share their vows privately in an adorable Airbnb tucked into the woods, creating a quiet little moment for just the two of them before celebrating with the people they love.
And then came the party!
JT and Julianah gathered their friends and family for a sweet reception at Mountain Crust Event Venue, and what a lovely spot it was. The setting was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the whole evening had that warm, relaxed feeling that makes intimate celebrations so special.
But honestly, one of my favorite parts was the people.
Their friends and family were so genuine, welcoming, and kind. You could feel how loved these two are, and I always love getting to witness that side of a wedding day—the hugs, the laughter, the stories, the happy tears, and all the little moments happening around the couple.
There’s something really beautiful about elopements and intimate weddings. They give couples the freedom to create a day that actually feels like them. JT and Julianah’s day was personal, joyful, and full of the people and moments that mattered most.
And selfishly, I loved getting to photograph these two again. From playing in the snow on Mt. Ashland to saying their vows in the Colorado woods… what a cool journey to get to document!
JT and Julianah, thank you for inviting me along for another chapter of your story and for trusting me to travel to Denver to capture such a meaningful day. I’m so, so happy I got to be there.
Congratulations, you two! 🤍 Here’s to a lifetime of adventures, laughter, and probably a whole lot more beautiful places along the way.
