What an epic proposal this was! These kind of sessions make me so giddy. Anthony put in so much effort to make this day special for his love, Emily. Anthony reached out to me and we ironed out all the sneaky details. These two recently moved to Oregon and he wanted a magical backdrop while he asked Emily to marry him. Crater Lake did not disappoint. You get a great mix of scenery there and it’s fairly quiet this time of year.

We started with a couples session, that way Emily was photo-ready and got to choose her fun outfits, knowing she’d be photographed. We wandered around the cool backdrops around a portion of the lake, and as the sun started setting, Anthony dropped to his knee and asked if she’d spend forever with him. So sweet! Of course I got teary eyed (because I LOVE love!) and she squealed with excitement and couldn’t wait to get that gorgeous ring on her finger.
