I’m pretty certain I had little heart emojis burst out of my eyes when I walked into the prep room that Rachael was getting ready in for her wedding day. You guys, lighting is everything. This simple room was DREAMY. It had this gorgeous tufted chair with a light bar mirror, no clutter, and a fun pink couch! This made all the difference for her prep photos. Aren’t they so airy and bright and crisp!? Also, her dress was the perfect summer wedding dress. So pretty! And let’s not forget about her sweet adorable pup that was in the prep room sneaking into most of the photos. Dogs are life.

Rachael also put a lot of thought into the bridal details she set out for me (both rings in a pretty blue box, wedding invitation, jewelry, perfume bottle, shoes, garter, vow books). The more pretty things my brides give me, the more beautiful your images will be.

Rachael + Dom are incredibly wonderful together. They just have this beautiful chemistry that’s palpable. AND they look stunning together. They chose to see each other prior to their ceremony so we did a first look and they privately read their vows to each other. Dom got emotional which I love! He adores this gal and it’s so evident. Dom rides a Harley so clearly we had to get shots of them with that beauty! Ow ow!

They held their ceremony in a hay field in Eagle Point, Oregon, surrounded by everyone they loved. As Rachael walked toward her groom with her dad on her arm, she loudly proclaimed that she had forgotten to grab her bouquet. As she inched closer to the back of the aisle, guests quickly plucked flowers from the floral arrangements around the ceremony site and handed her pieces that ended up making a lovely bouquet. I think that was one of the sweetest moments I’ve seen at a wedding in a long time! Rachael and Dom vowed to love each other, exchanged rings, smooched and headed to their reception to party with all their favorite people.

We were also able to sneak away from their reception to grab some shots as the sun went down. These are always some of my favorites from the day! The light was dreamy and it was a great excuse to snuggle and kiss and get some sweet photos. I am continuously so blessed by all these amazing couples that let me into their lives for such a sweet season. Congrats to Mr. + Mrs. Jones! Ya’ll are so happy and lovely to work with.
