I adored Taylor + Jake from the moment I met them.
They have this genuine sweetness about them, they’re incredibly laid back, and I LOVE the way Jake looks at Taylor.
You can feel the bond these two share just by watching them together, and it was beautiful to photograph.
A Southern Oregon Wedding Day
Southern Oregon’s skies were still filled with smoke on their wedding day, but thankfully, that didn’t dampen the celebration one bit.
We started the day with getting-ready photographs with the ladies, capturing all those little details and excited moments before the ceremony.
Taylor also shared a first look with her dad, and it was so sweet.
There’s something about seeing a dad see his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time that gets me every single time.
Meanwhile, I got to photograph some of the details of Jake’s wedding attire, and let me tell you…
He looked pretty dang dapper.
And Taylor?
Absolutely stunning.
A Sweet & Simple Ceremony
Their ceremony was simple, elegant, and filled with little moments of personality.
Including the flower girls.
The cute little ladies apparently forgot they were supposed to toss their flower petals until they reached the very end of the aisle.

Honestly, I loved it.
Those unexpected little moments are part of what makes wedding days so much fun. You can plan every detail, but you can’t completely choreograph real life—and I wouldn’t want you to.
Taylor + Jake exchanged their vows and wedding bands, then walked back down the aisle as newlyweds.
And then they stopped for another kiss.
Perfect.
It made for such a sweet photograph and such a fun way to officially kick off their marriage.
Taylor + Jake, I hope your life together is filled with the same warmth, laughter, and genuine love that was so obvious on your wedding day.
