Do you ever meet someone and instantly feel like they’re family? That’s how I felt when I first met Tawnya over video chat. We had a lot in common and just clicked immediately. I was giddy that her and Danny chose me to photograph their intimate elopement on the Oregon Coast.

They and their families travelled from Wisconsin to have a destination wedding on the beaches of Oregon, and it was PERFECTION. The weather was fantastic, the people were so wonderful and these two got to marry their favorite person. I have realized after being a wedding photographer for 20 years now, that these tiny intimate celebrations of love are where my heart feels most at home. I love leaving with my heart full, feeling like family.

Prior to their ring exchange, they passed their wedding bands to each guest, allowing them to bless them and pray for them. Such a sweet moment! As this wedding blended two families together, Tawnya said her own vows to the three children and it was precious. After they sealed it with a kiss, we got to play on the beach as the sun was setting and it was epic! They totally rocked it and I’m so thrilled with the shots we got for them. I wish these two the happiest life together full of love and laughter and snuggles. Congrats to the newlyweds!
