Kiley is a gem!
She showed up to her senior session with some seriously great fall outfits, and that fedora was the perfect finishing touch for her country-boho style.
I especially loved that she incorporated burnt orange into her wardrobe. It popped beautifully against the dry golden grass and mountain backdrop and gave her photographs such a warm, autumn feel.
Windy Autumn Senior Portraits
It was a pretty windy day for Kiley’s session, but I’m definitely not complaining.
Wind can be a photographer’s best friend.
Instead of fighting it, we used it to our advantage. Her hair and clothing had all this beautiful movement, which made the portraits feel more dynamic and natural.
And honestly, there’s something about a little wind in a senior portrait that makes the image feel alive.
The dry grass, mountains, warm fall colors, and soft light all came together beautifully.
But Kiley’s personality is what really made this session.
She was down for anything I threw at her, which is basically a photographer’s dream. We played around, laughed, tried different poses and locations, and ended up with a whole gallery of images that felt fun and completely her.
She was playful, giggly, and just plain adorable.
I love senior sessions like this—when we can take a beautiful location, add some great outfits and a little creativity, and let the senior’s personality take over.
Kiley, I had SO much fun photographing you! Congratulations on your senior year, and I hope you love these photographs as much as I loved creating them. ❤️
