Klamath Falls Oregon Autumn Wedding at the Running Y Resort

Oregon autumn weddings are my jam lately!

And Sarah + Nathan’s wedding day at the Running Y Resort in Klamath Falls was such a beautiful example of why I love this season so much.

These two are just happy people.

You can see it in their photographs.

They genuinely enjoy each other, they adore one another, and they were SO excited to finally get married.

That kind of connection makes my job ridiculously fun.

An Autumn Wedding at Running Y Resort

The morning started out with rain, but thankfully the weather decided to cooperate just in time for portraits.

Sarah + Nathan stayed in what they called “the mansion,” which was this huge, gorgeous space overlooking the autumn trees and lake.

And holy moly…

What a backdrop.

The warm colors of autumn, the lake, the trees, and that beautiful evening light made for some seriously gorgeous photographs.

I swear photographs have a different warmth to them during autumn.

Everything just feels a little cozier.

A little richer.

A little more romantic.

And before the ceremony, the wedding party even had a little dance party in the backyard with a boombox.

Because obviously.

I love when wedding days have moments like this. Everyone was relaxed, having fun, and genuinely enjoying being together.

Sarah’s Wedding Day Details

Sarah was absolutely STUNNING in her dress.

Every detail of this wedding was beautiful.

The florals were perfect, and I especially loved that the bridesmaids wore different colors and styles rather than all being dressed identically.

Sarah also had a first look with her bridesmaids, which was such a sweet moment.

The guys looked pretty dang snazzy in their suits, too.

And then there was the cake and cupcakes…

They looked delicious.

I’m a photographer, not a food critic, but I feel like I would’ve been willing to conduct some extensive research on those cupcakes.

The Best Kind of Wedding Guests

One of the things I’ll remember most about Sarah + Nathan’s wedding wasn’t even something I photographed.

It was how incredibly kind their families were to me.

I’m pretty certain seven different people made sure I had a plate of dinner.

Every time I turned around, someone was asking if I’d eaten yet.

Working with wonderful people really does make this job so enjoyable and rewarding.

A wedding photographer is invited into such a personal day, and I never take that trust for granted.

I’m incredibly grateful to every couple who allows me to be there—not just to photograph the pretty things, but to witness the relationships, laughter, happy tears, family connections, and all the little moments that make the day uniquely theirs.

Sarah + Nathan, thank you for trusting me with such an important chapter of your lives.

You two were an absolute joy, and I’m so happy I got to document the day you finally became husband and wife.
