John + Jeanne totally rock.

These two are just amazingly cool people to be around. They ooze joy, and I knew from the moment they chose me to photograph their wedding that this was going to be one heck of a fun day.

And as you’ll see…

It was. 😎

A Mt. Shasta Resort Wedding

John and Jeanne’s beautiful wedding celebration took place at the Mt. Shasta Resort in Northern California, surrounded by the incredible scenery of Siskiyou County.

The entire day was filled with love, laughter, and two people who clearly have a whole lot of fun together.

And I mean A LOT of laughter.

You know those couples who just genuinely enjoy each other? That’s John and Jeanne.

They’re playful, affectionate, and completely comfortable being themselves together. Which, of course, made them ridiculously fun to photograph.

Couples that play together stay together… right? 😉

A Seriously Incredible Sunset

And then the day gave us one heck of a grand finale.

As the sun started dropping behind the mountain, the sky exploded into this incredible pink, colorful sunset over Mt. Shasta.

The timing couldn’t have been better.

We were able to sneak away for some newlywed portraits while the sky was glowing, and the result was pure magic.

There’s something extra special about wedding portraits when the landscape and light decide to show off. And Mt. Shasta definitely showed off for these two.

But even without that epic sunset, this would have been an unforgettable wedding day.

The love surrounding John and Jeanne was so obvious, and the laughter never seemed to stop. Their friends and family came together to celebrate two people who are clearly very loved.

And those are my favorite kinds of wedding days.

The ones that feel less like a production and more like a really awesome celebration with people you love.

John + Jeanne, I am SO happy you chose me to photograph your wedding. You two were an absolute blast, and I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!
