Bryce + Lily are the kind of people I’d actually hang out with.
I absolutely adored them from the moment I first met them during their wedding consultation, and the fact that our first meeting ended with hugs pretty much sealed the deal. These two are warm, welcoming, genuine, and just plain wonderful.
So when they chose me as their wedding photographer, I was SO stoked.
I’d love to tell you this was a beautiful, mild summer day…
But that would be a lie. 😂
It was 105 degrees.
One hundred and five sweaty degrees.
And Bryce + Lily were absolute troopers.
Despite the heat, they trusted me, toughed it out, and gave me plenty of time for newlywed portraits. And I’m SO glad they did because, as you’ll see, I think it was worth sweating for. 😉
Their wedding at TBS Ranch in Palo Cedro, Northern California gave us so many beautiful options for portraits. The property has an awesome variety of backdrops and locations, which made it easy to create a gallery full of images that felt different while still telling the story of their day.
And these two completely trusted me to run with my creativity.
That is one of the greatest gifts a couple can give their photographer.
They were willing to explore, move around, try different things, and embrace whatever crazy idea I came up with next. Even when the California heat was absolutely brutal.
And look at what we got!
The warm orange and cream tones of their florals were beautiful against the landscape, and Lily’s bridal flower crown was such a gorgeous finishing touch to her look.
But the photographs were only part of what made this wedding so special.
The entire day was filled with love, huge smiles, happy tears, and people who were genuinely thrilled to celebrate Bryce and Lily.
And after spending so much time with these two, I completely understood why.
They’re just good people.
The kind of people you meet and immediately feel comfortable around. The kind you wish lived closer so you could grab a drink or hang out after the wedding instead of simply saying goodbye.
Bryce + Lily, thank you for trusting me with such an important day and for being so wonderfully yourselves.
I was SO happy to be chosen as your photographer, and I’m even happier that I got to spend this crazy-hot, beautiful, emotional, love-filled day with you both.
Congratulations, you two! ❤️
