Alayna was an absolute dream to photograph!

She was a total natural in front of the camera, and with her striking features, dark hair, and soft curls, she was pretty much made for senior portraits.

For her Yreka High School senior session, we headed up to Greenhorn Park in Yreka, and it ended up being the perfect location for a beautiful autumn session.

The warm fall colors and soft evening light were absolutely gorgeous, and the park gave us so much variety. We wandered through the woods, photographed around the trees and bridge, and took advantage of all the cozy little spots tucked throughout the park.

And Alayna’s outfits were SO good.

She brought a classic red flannel that looked amazing against the autumn colors, and then changed into a cozy sweater for a completely different look. Her style fit the season and the location perfectly without feeling overly coordinated or fussy.

There’s just something about fall senior portraits that I love. Warm colors, soft evening light, cozy layers, and a beautiful natural setting make for photographs that feel timeless while still capturing exactly who a senior is during this season of life.

And Alayna made my job pretty easy. She was relaxed, confident, and completely comfortable in front of the camera. Her natural expressions and gorgeous smile came through in every part of her session.

Greenhorn Park was such a beautiful backdrop for her senior portraits, and I loved getting to explore it with her.
