Ready for a dreamy mountain top maternity!? I was so pumped when Rachel reached out about wanting a maternity session on Mt. Ashland. There is something so magical about celebrating this season of life in a beautiful outdoor setting, and the mountain did not disappoint.

And can we talk about Rachel’s dreamy red hair?!

It was absolutely stunning against the mountain backdrop. The warm tones of her hair, the soft evening light, and the natural scenery all came together so beautifully. She looked incredible.

We timed their session around sunset, and the light was everything I hoped it would be. Mt. Ashland gave us the perfect combination of mountain views, trees, open landscapes, and that golden glow that makes everything feel a little extra special.

Rachel and her husband Anthony are expecting their first baby, and their excitement was completely contagious.

You could feel how much joy they already have for their little one., The sweet glances, the laughter, the way they held each other, and the excitement of knowing their family was about to grow, it was all so beautiful to capture.

I adore photographing happy people. There is something so special about being around couples who are genuinely excited for the next chapter of their lives, and Rachel and Anthony brought that energy in the best way.

We captured a beautiful mix of maternity portraits, including some more intimate bare belly images and some dreamy photos of Rachel in a flowy cream ruffle dress that moved beautifully in the mountain breeze.

They also brought along their sonogram photos, which was such a meaningful detail to include. I love those little touches that tell the bigger story. Someday, their child will be able to see these images and know how loved they already were before they even arrived.

This session wasn’t just about documenting a growing belly, it was about capturing the anticipation, love, and excitement of becoming a family of three.
