This Southern Oregon University graduation session in Ashland, Oregon was SO much fun! 🎓✨

Nancy was an absolute dream to work with. She brought such a fun, confident energy to her session, and I loved getting to celebrate such a huge milestone with her.

And can we talk about her amazing outfit choices?!

Because WOW.

Outfits can make such a difference in a portrait session, and Nancy absolutely nailed it. She brought a beautiful mix of looks, including her classic cap and gown, her diploma details, and a gorgeous cream ruffle dress that was so fun and feminine. Each outfit helped tell a different part of her story and gave her gallery so much variety.

I loved that Nancy wanted to include both Southern Oregon University’s campus and Emigrant Lake for her portraits. These two locations gave us completely different vibes, the classic college experience mixed with the natural beauty that makes Southern Oregon so special.

The campus photos captured the excitement and pride of this achievement, while Emigrant Lake gave us a beautiful outdoor setting with those dreamy sunset views. The evening light was absolutely incredible and made the perfect backdrop for celebrating this next chapter.

And because life celebrations are even better when shared with the people you love, we also included some sweet couples portraits with her boyfriend. They were adorable together, and I loved capturing that fun, supportive relationship alongside this huge accomplishment.

One of my favorite things about photography is getting to document these big moments in people’s lives. Graduations, engagements, weddings, growing families, new chapters, it’s such an honor to freeze these seasons in time.
