I LOVE how colorful autumn is in Southern Oregon, and Annika’s senior session was the perfect example of why! 🍂 The leaves were vibrant, the scenery was gorgeous, and we had the best time exploring two completely different locations for her senior portraits.

Annika chose McKee Bridge and Ti’lomikh Falls in Gold Hill, which gave us a really fun variety of backdrops throughout her session. I’m always a fan of choosing two locations when you want your senior portraits to have a little more variety. Instead of having every image look the same, we can get completely different scenery, textures, and moods while still keeping the whole session cohesive.

McKee Bridge gave us those beautiful autumn trees and classic Southern Oregon scenery, with all those rich reds, oranges, and yellows surrounding us. The fall leaves were absolutely showing off and made the dreamiest backdrop for Annika’s portraits.

Then we headed over to Ti’lomikh Falls in Gold Hill for a change of scenery. The trees, water, and natural surroundings gave us another beautiful setting to play with, and it was so fun getting to explore both spots together.

And, of course, we couldn’t leave Annika’s sweet pup out of the fun! 🐾 You know I will always encourage bringing your dog along for photos. Pets are family, and I love when seniors include something (or someone) that is such an important part of their lives.

Annika was an absolute blast to photograph. She was relaxed, fun, and totally up for exploring, which made the whole session feel easy and natural. Add a gorgeous senior, peak Southern Oregon fall color, two beautiful locations, and an adorable dog, and I’d say we had a pretty fantastic recipe for some memorable senior portraits.

I’m a big believer that senior photos should feel like you. If that means two locations, exploring waterfalls, playing in the leaves, or bringing your best furry friend along, let’s do it!
