Miss Palmer is such a doll! 🥹 Just the sweetest 9 month old baby girl. And honestly, getting to photograph families through different seasons of life is one of the absolute coolest parts of this job.

I first met Bridgette and Kelley when I photographed their engagement session, then I got to be there for their wedding, followed by their maternity session, and now… their family session!

How lucky am I?!

There is something so special about watching my clients’ stories unfold over the years. I get to meet couples when they’re newly engaged, celebrate with them on their wedding day, photograph them as their families grow, and then eventually get to chase around their sweet little ones. It’s pretty freaking cool, and I never take it for granted.

And, of course, we had to include their pup! Because if you know me at all, you know I will always vote for bringing the dog. Pets are family, too, and I love that Bridgette and Kelley make sure their four-legged family member gets to be part of these memories.

Miss Palmer was, of course, the star of the show. She is absolutely precious, and watching these two love on their little girl was enough to make my photographer heart very happy.

We spent the evening at Emigrant Lake, which will forever be one of my favorite Southern Oregon locations for photos. There are so many beautiful spots around the lake, but that evening light? Dreamy. When the sun starts dropping and everything gets that warm, glowy look, it is basically impossible to take a bad photo.

And these three made my job pretty darn easy.

I feel beyond blessed when families trust me to document their lives over and over again. Being invited back for another chapter is something I never take lightly. It means I get to do more than just take pretty pictures. I get to become a tiny part of your family’s story.

Bridgette and Kelley, thank you for trusting me through engagements, weddings, growing bellies, babies, and now family photos. It is always such a joy working with you, and I’m so grateful I get to keep watching your beautiful family grow.
