Kelly reached out to me shortly after getting terrible news that her sweet Husky, Kada, was diagnosed with cancer and she wanted some photos taken together as she wasn’t sure how much time she had left with her.

My eyes teared up as I listened to Kelly’s voicemail explaining the situation. Our love for dogs is mutual.

We got her session scheduled quickly and I couldn’t wait to meet this fluffy friend who had changed Kelly’s life for the better. The love between them was so sweet to witness. They snuggled and bonded and it was just so perfect.

Kada is 9 and has been part of the family since she was just a pup. She’s an only child and is spoiled, as they should be. 😉 On the session day, Kada was full of energy and had an abundance of sniffing to do.

We got some really great photos of these two and I am so happy I got to be a part of this precious time they spent together.
