Ashland has a little bit of everything — unique downtown streets, colorful storefronts in the plaza, lush forests, creekside trails, mountain views, coffee shops and beautiful golden light. It’s one of my favorite places in Southern Oregon because every season brings something different.

Downtown Ashland gives us a completely different kind of backdrop, full of character. From the iconic Ashland Springs Hotel, to historic buildings, colorful storefronts, cozy corners, and the beauty of Lithia Park all within walking distance. It’s perfect for couples and senior sessions that feel a little more urban, candid, and full of charm.

Just minutes from Ashland, Emigrant Lake is one of my favorite spots for couples, families, and portraits with a little more room to breathe. Think golden hills, sparkling water, rocky shoreline, and gorgeous sunsets. It’s especially beautiful when you want your photos to feel relaxed, outdoorsy, and a little adventurous.

Nestled right in the heart of Ashland, Lithia Park is full of little corners that make beautiful photographs. Wander along the creek, cross the stone bridges, explore the winding paths, and let the park do the rest. It’s a wonderful choice for couples, engagements, seniors, families, and anyone who wants a beautiful outdoor setting without venturing far from town. Spring fills the park with fresh greenery and beautiful blooms, while fall brings rich autumn color and that gorgeous warm, cozy feeling.

I thought you'd never ask! Yes YES. 

When is the best time of year for photos in Ashland?
All the seasons in Ashland are my favorite - spring for the blooms, fall for the colors, winter for the snow capped trees and those dreamy summer evenings when the light seems to last forever. 

What is the turnaround time?
You will receive an online gallery of your images within 10 days of your session date. You can save/share/download and print anywhere you wish.

Do you retouch our images?
Yes! I edit every image to enhance the natural beauty while keeping them true to who you are. I will remove temporary blemishes such as breakouts, bruises, or small distractions that won’t be part of your story years from now. I do not offer body reshaping or slimming edits because I want your images to reflect the real, beautiful people you are. The best way to feel confident is choosing clothing that fits comfortably, moves well, and makes you feel like yourself. Professional hair and makeup can also be a wonderful way to elevate your experience and help you feel your absolute best.

Do you photograph same-sex couples?
Absolutely! Your love story deserves to be celebrated exactly as it is. I welcome and celebrate all couples, and I want every person who steps in front of my camera to feel seen, valued, and completely comfortable being themselves.

We are very private - will our images be posted online?
Only with your permission! I love sharing & bragging about my clients but I totally respect your privacy. I've had many clients opt out of website posting for various reasons. Your comfort comes first. 

What happens if there is bad weather?
I’ll keep an eye on the forecast as your session date approaches and will reach out if inclement weather is expected. From there, we can decide together whether to embrace the elements or reschedule for a different day. Rain, snow, fog, and wind can create some truly magical images — dramatic skies, moody landscapes, and unforgettable moments. Sometimes the unexpected weather becomes the best part of the adventure!
